We've had a good afternoon chatting to colleagues from across industry. We've also caught up with someone we met last year who seems very interested in PhD study.

It has been a really good week at #InnovationFestival24 meeting so many people. We are in to our final afternoon but still time to pop round for a chat and to pick up our last notebook.

Off on my travels again to the 8th annual meeting of the Cycling Research Board #CRBAM to present the work of David Alvarez and Geospatial Systems CDT on agent-based modelling for exploring cycling policies. By train from Newcastle to Zurich, of course... Chris presenting too!

David Alvarez Geospatial Systems CDT The talk by Chris on his PhD work to develop an open-source approach to mapping LTNs was well-received, with some rich disucssions and suggestions for improvement. Here's an example of his outputs for Zurich if you'd like to explore! froguin99.github.io/Zurich/ 3/n

Looking forward to the start of our new academic year Planning for 2024/25 is well under way with our own CDT events, industry events, conferences and visits all in the pipeline. We may not have a new cohort starting this year but we certainly aren't slowing down!
