For 10 years, service has been at the core of our mission. Across Georgia, DCS employees lead year-round outreach efforts for the communities we serve. In the last 10 years, DCS employees have donated over $164,000 towards service efforts across the state.

Since 2015, DCS staff have completed more than 863,000 hours of training—from field safety to leadership development. By investing in our workforce, we’re building a stronger agency and empowering our people to grow, lead, and thrive.

At DCS, effective supervision is built on the quality of each interaction. The Person-Centered Supervision (PCS) framework is DCS’ approach to putting people first, adapting supervision to each individual’s needs, risks, and progress.
