Distorted compassion—that is compassion based on tainted or inaccurate perceptions of another person’s suffering—can lead to ostensibly well-intended advice, actions, or inactions that may be completely at odds with what the patient really wants. #PlatinumRule #DIGNITY

Family doctors are speaking out. The time to act is now before they vanish forever. Everyone in Ontario deserves access to a family doctor. Like and repost if you agree. #Onhealth

Family medicine is a beautiful speciality that saves lives and is key to healthy communities. It breaks my heart that this is being overshadowed by system failures. I'm lucky to have the most amazing Temerty Medicine colleagues who will be joining FM. The future is bright 🫶 (2/2)

Let's be clear... MORE medical students chose FM in the first round this year than last (1450 vs. 1361). MORE FM spots were unmatched last year (268 vs. 253). We have work to do. Especially in Ontario. But let's celebrate the 1450 students who chose FM! OCFP
