We had such a wonderful time hosting the Wood Magic Science Fair this week. About 4,000 third and fourth graders visited Mississippi State to learn about forestry, forest products, conservation and sustainability. Check back next week for class photos. #MSUCFR

Spring is here. Flowers on the way, birds happy, sun shinning in a blue sky…Life is good!

I remember celebrating Earth Day with other students in the early 70s. Back then it was our effort to right wrongs, and a protest against air and water pollution of air. I’m still celebrating 50 years later.

Sad day. Willie Mays was one of my favorite ball players. One of the greatest hitters of all time. And, his defensive abilities were unreal; the basket-catch was classic. RIP, Willie.
