Uninformed opinion: a Pac12 / ACC merger is a good option given the USC&UCLA defections. Create a new Coastal conference with a Pacific and Atlantic divisions. Build on the academic and cultural affinities.

A climate of negativity in Seattle urbanism often overlooks how Seattle leads nationally and regionally in housing production, and generates $75-100M per year for homes w/ MHA. AND yes we need much more housing of all kinds.

I’m taking a moment to appreciate that we’re building light rail across the world’s 2nd longest floating bridge - on I90 between Seattle and its eastern suburbs. (& only the nearby 520 bridge is longer, and Hood Canal bridge is 3rd.)
