Thanks to the Niskanen Center for covering my paper with Thomas Soehl on how Canada's BVOR program has a unique impact on employment outcomes for resettled refugees. Read more here: tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.108…

I’ve known Kaveh Shahrooz کاوه شهروز since we were colleagues in government. We’ve collaborated on campaigns defending human rights in Iran, and he has a long track record as a passionate and principled defender of rights and democracy. I’s unfair and disingenuous to claim otherwise.

Excited to see this in print! Kiran and Craig Damian Smith were stellar editors of this excellent volume👏👏 @ShaunaLabman and I are in here with a comparative chapter on executive discretion in refugee resettlement in the US and Canada.

What a terrific group of contributors brought together by our exemplar editor Christina Clark-Kazak! Looking forward to seeing this in print and assigning it to students.

This is alarming news. Mr Seioshanseian was previously blacklisted and expelled by Qatar, although his family had resided there for generations. There is no evidence that his treatment is anything other than religious discrimination.

Good article in the Times today. An earlier piece by Adrian Humphreys for the National Post goes into a lot more historical detail on the Treaty: nationalpost.com/news/canada/tr…
