Proud moment for working families in Detroit! SEIU Local 1 is proud to endorse Mary Sheffield for the next Mayor of Detroit. Sheffield has always stood with janitors, security officers, arena workers, and working families — and now we are proud to stand with her.

Today, Local 1 essential janitors who have serviced office buildings throughout Kansas City for years rallied for better wages and a fair contract, and were joined by Councilman Kevin O’Neill KCMO, who introduced a resolution in support of these essential janitors demanding fair pay!
