Final day of #GeneMappers2023 kicks off with a remote talk from Slavé Petrovski - discussing the ways AstraZeneca uses human genetic and functional genomic data to inform therapeutic development.

Our last talk of this session - Stuart MacGregor will present on exploring scenarios where polygenic risk scores can offer a highly effective risk stratification, using the example of glaucoma. #GeneMappers2023

Our last keynote speaker, Justin Rubio, will wrap up the conference with a talk on the progress in multiple sclerosis genetic research over the past 50 years. Excited to hear these insights! #GeneMappers2023

We value our partnership with Thermo Fisher. Great to catch up with the team during GeneMappers. Their HT Propel workflow mean Ramaciotti Centre for Genomics can process over 35K Axiom arrays per year. Yay for array!

Continuing into our MS genetics session - Xin Lin will present on novel plasma and brain proteins that are implicated in multiple sclerosis. Their findings have the potential to make a significant impact on MS research. #GeneMappers2023 Xin

Now into MS and pharmacogenomics - Pia Campagna will discuss pharmacogenomic predictors of fingolimod response in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. #GeneMappers2023

What if it’s not MS, or not just MS? Nicholas Blackburn is answering this question in his research on the genetics of Multiple Sclerosis at #GeneMappers2023
