A really valuable #iwill campaign (old) report from Generation Change with a useful framework for assessing how organisations use evidence to drive programme quality: youthimpact.uk/publications/i…

This is such a heartwarming story about how @NCS participants (16 and 17 year olds) have made such a positive difference in local communities (I am a patron so not unbiased) youtube.com/watch?v=hGX8cL…

Agree with some of this but to do it properly you do have to invest - volunteering is never free and young people need support throughout. The infrastructure is there with @NCS and there's an opportunity with a new PM and CSR to expand its remit. #nationalservice

The UK desperately needs an extended form of Citizen Service. How many young people would sign up to install solar panels, insulate homes, care for the elderly or mentor in schools - if given the chance? x.com/Will_Tanner/st…

This represents a really valuable addition to @YouthImpactUK 's practice development offer, and we are excited by the opportunity to build on the work of Generation Change, and take the programme onwards into its next phase of life. youthimpact.uk/news--events/i…

So pleased that the fantastic Impact Accelerator developed by Generation Change has now transferred to @YouthImpactUK - it will enable them to expand it across the youth sector and is such a great legacy for our collaboration Dr Tessy Ojo CBE Michael Lynas Jennie Butterworth Matt Hyde @Lotte_IWill

Really exciting to be here at a Founders and Coders workshop developing an idea from our Hackathon to create a web platform that helps educators to quickly find quality local social action projects. #systemschange

Throughout history, children have won the future that adults failed to create. Claudette Colvin, Iqbal Masih, Malala Yousafzai, Greta Thunberg. Once again, it's time for older generations to follow the lead of the young. Join the #ClimateStrike

Very pleased with this superb report from the Impact Accelerator. It sets out some powerful recommendations for funders that could change the game when it comes to increasing the quality of youth services. Highlights to follow... youthimpact.uk/uploads/1/1/4/…

Being part of the Generation Change Impact Accelerator was hugely beneficial for our team UK Youth. We were delighted to contribute to this #iwill campaign (old) report and share how the process is helping us continually improve. #impact #learning #partnerships

This thread, and the report, are good food for thought for funders of #youthsocialaction this Friday. There's a potential framework for funders to use in thinking about where to target their support, and what it should be backing. Thanks @YouthImpactUK and David Reed

This is a tragedy and part of why I helped set up Generation Change. The good news is: young people today care more about social issues than any generation before them, are more likely to volunteer, and want social purpose careers. There is a future here. unherd.com/2019/12/why-do…
