A concerning drop in the number of #apprenticeship starts to August-May 2022/23, compared to the same period last year. This is driven by a sharp decline in intermediate level starts, which has fallen by 16.8% and has fallen across all age groups.

The 2ns paper from a series of three examining the impact of #costofliving pressures on schools. Almost 1/2 of primary schools, just under a 1/3 of special schools and just under 3 in 10 secondary schools have reduced number of, and hours worked by teaching assistants.
