What is the state of support for the increasing number of people struggling with post-viral conditions like ME and long Covid? I’ve taken a deep dive into this topic⬇️ Thanks to those who offered insights including ME Association, Jo, Carol Wilson, Elaine Maxwell and others

Gemma Mitchell ME Association Jo Carol Wilson Elaine Maxwell Thank you for covering this topic in Nursing Times . People who are housebound with #SevereME desperately need access to at home vaccines, blood tests, smears etc but the current district nursing system is near impossible to get into the system & inaccessible many #pwME.

Writing an article for Nursing Times in the coming month on assisted dying, and I would like to get a good spread of opinion. If you are a nurse and would like to have a say on the prospect of assisted dying being legalised, please get in touch. DMs or [email protected]

We want to interview nurses about experiences working during this winter. Is it busier than previous years? What's driving a reported increase in corridor care? etc. This is for an article to go in the next Nursing Times magazine. DM, reply or email us if you're interested!

CALL FOR INTERVIEWEES! If you are a nurse and have been working over winter, and wish to share your experiences with Nursing Times, please get in touch. Curious to hear about everything driving, or being caused by, winter pressures: flu, corridor care, staff shortages, etc.

I am particularly looking to speak to those working outside acute settings about how winter pressures have impacted you. Community and district nurses, social care nurses and public health nurses please do drop me a line. My email is [email protected]

Nursing Times has launched a new survey in partnership with UNISON - UK's largest union on workplace safety. We want to hear from nursing and midwifery staff about your experiences of violence at work. Take part here: research.net/r/nursingsafety

Gemma Mitchell (@gemmamitchell92) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Early findings are suggesting physical violence against nurses and midwives is extremely widespread. The survey will stay open until 26 Feb - please take part to help us understand the full scale of the problem. Share your experiences here: research.net/r/nursingsafety
