So I assumed that junior novel tie-in I read last week, Superman: Welcome to Metropolis, was just exceptionally puerile due to its intended audience. Now I’m wondering if that’s actually just how Superman is written, and the book was emulating that.

Anyone who watches a new entry in a franchise and approaches it with the mindset of “how is this subtracting from what I love,” instead of “how is this going to add to what came before,” but can’t even spell the word ‘canon’ correctly, deserves to live their whole life like that.
