One small change I'd like British Athletics to implement for future generations would be for Olympians to receive medical insurance. I don't think it's an extravagant request for athletes who have dedicated their whole life to a sport. Even 1 year would be better than nothing.

Also, just to make it clear - this isn't about me. I'm in a fortunate position with my current contracts and my business. But this post is for the athletes who have made it to the pinnacle of the sport, yet still find themselves unsupported. Some change is needed.
