In France for what will be our 12th and, we hope, final harvest. If the sale process goes to plan the new owners take over on 1/11. Been a great 12 years we enjoyed it our kids and grandkids had some great hols there, but it’s time to move on, we’re just too old.

Tomorrow, and for the rest of this week, this machine will be picking grapes. For the rest of the year in reverts to being a humble tractor.

I can’t see me getting a last swim in this week. It’s gloriously sunny but there is a bitterly cold North wind. We hate wind, it dries the grapes if you get too much. So far this year the weather’s been behaving but this is the third day of wind…..
