Our data belongs to us. We have always advocated for Indigenous Data Sovereignty. We believe that our people should retain ownership and be able to consent to how data about us is used. Learn more about Indigenous Data Sovereignty here - ow.ly/CoZ650PBfZQ

The results of embracing colonizer 'democratic' politics... A Wiradjuri woman giving a 'Welcome to Country' on Gadigal Land based on the cultural authority gifted to her by the hands and pens of white parliaments through the Land Rights Act and restrictions to the 'Native Title'.

Nature astounds me... So after all this (if I got this right) if bees make too much honey (or store too much pollen), the hive splits in two and one half swarms to make another hive... Evolution does my head in... but then we made atomic/nuclear bombs and 'climate change' *sighs*

Asked what he’ll now do for indigenous Australians Peter Dutton said that between now and the next election he’ll take advice from Jacinta Price and then formulate policies. One voice. One. Do you get the irony?

We don’t have great data for incidents of racism in schools because they aren’t recorded. Incidents of racism between students are usually just recorded as ‘bullying’ and incidents of racism from teachers usually aren’t recorded at all.

The number of “experts” who think they know more than actual runs on the board & objectively qualified ppl with expertise is why we are where we are. Paternalism remains our greatest threat to black progress

Colonialism means coming to someone else’s country and violently imposing your culture and then complaining about people coming to that same country and imposing their culture (even though they really aren’t).
