19th June, 2009 Major Sean Edward Birchall, aged 33, born in Vanderbijlpark, South Africa, and of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, was killed by an IED blast whilst on patrol in Basharan, near Lashkar Gah, Helmand Province, Afghanistan Lest we Forget this brave man 🇿🇦 🇬🇧

June 18th 1982: A sombre start to the morning as the three Falklands ladies killed in the war are laid to rest: Susan Whitley - 30, Doreen Bonner - 46 and Mary Goodwin - 81, who died as a result of her injuries on June 14th. My friend Marc Branch was one of the pall bearers.

18 June 1985 Gilliland, William Robert (39) Royal Ulster Constabulary Killed in land mine explosion on mobile patrol, Coragh Glebe, near Kinawley, Fermanagh.

Shirel Golan, 22, survived 10/7 and was rescued by a police before she could be killed. Yet, she developed nightmares. PTSD; terrifying dissociation. Social withdrawl. Sadly, just a year and two weeks after 10/7, she died by suicide🕯️🕯️ #NeverForget

🌺🇬🇧 Today, we remember Lance Corporal Jonathan Peter Hetherington, who sadly died on 27 August 2006 in Afghanistan. Jonathan served with the Royal Signals. He was highly respected for his professionalism, warmth, and sense of humour. Never forgotten. 🇬🇧🕯️🕊️ 📰 Source: MOD

Marine Richard Hollington became the 300th British Serviceman to die as a result of operations in Afghanistan on the 20th June in 2010. He was only 23 years old 😢💔 Thank you for your service Richard ❤️ Lest we forget 🇬🇧

(1) Tony Carlos Harrison - 19th June 1991 SEFF remembers Tony Carlos Harrison who was murdered by Provisional IRA terrorists. Tony was 21-years-old, single and a soldier with the Parachute Regiment holding the rank of Private was from London.

Mor Meyer was tragically killed by Hamas terrorists in her home in Kibbutz Nirim, Israel, on October 7, 2023. Mor was 17 years old at the time. May G-d Bless her.

Karina Pritika, 23, a former rhythmic gymnast from Ariel, was murdered while attending the Supernova music festival near Kibbutz Re’im on October 7. Born in Portugal, Pritika began training at age of four at the Maccabi Petah Tikva gymnastic club under trainer Natasha Asmolov.
