Our Spec 2024 ⁦Sydney Opera⁩ last night. Couldn’t be prouder of our students who participated for the very first time. A huge shout out to all the remarkable teachers that go above and beyond to make this opportunity possible for our public education students.

Unfortunately this well intentioned piece buys into the idea that the right targets and school actions can fix inequity. Inequity is the school segregation of the haves and have nots hard wired into our system. The system needs reform. thesaturdaypaper.com.au/comment/topic/…

Anncaro1 🙄🤣 Between 2013-17, Australia’s 4 richest schools spent more on new facilities than the poorest 1,800 combined. The spending arms race in private schools is out of control & the flow of taxpayers money to these school needs reform in way of ceasing all funds to private schools.

It’s so interesting that a piece on cyberbullying outside of school hours has no mention of what parents and carers can do differently; just what schools need to do.

The Greens are so disappointing these days. Hopefully they will agree to help some people with housing rather than none #insiders

Not this again. Suspension is a health and safety issue. Teachers and other students have the right to learn and be safe. Suspension is a last resort.

what's wrong with education these days? well, when you have 11 of 22 staff absent on the third last day, and zero casuals, . . . . oh, and its raining (wet weather duties) and muggy af. what do you expect? really going to be an 'interesting' day

With out the rise in dwelling rent, insurance, education and tobacco annual inflation would have been around 1%. Really stupid when you put it that way isn’t it?
