🚨Thread Alert!🚨 I chat about hedge wildlife, but they also have very real value in terms of Carbon sequestration My buddy Sofia Sofia Biffi has done a great job explaining her amazing new research The graph of hedge planting rate is also very heartening (Good job farmers!)

I listened to this podcast 3 times yesterday…love the logic & concept. Would be great to hear thoughts from some of the 200+ farmers that have been involved #maxsustainableoutput #workwithnature #transitioncosts #resilience

I hope those landowners whose land was compulsorily purchased for HS2 are given 1st refusal to buy it back for the same price minus costs.

When asked whether last week whether arable farmers in the East are adopting 'regen' principles on farms, I wish I had been able to show this. Very unlikely to have seen anything like this in Norfolk 10 years ago.

At least 10 Little Egrets in this clip from the farm. Not sure what the attraction of Kings Lynn is compared to South Africa but they seem to enjoy it here.

I just had a chat with a lovely researcher from BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends about My Family: The Memoir and she talked about how un-judgemental the book is, as regards my parents' transgressive and "bad" behaviour - which it is - and then she said, "but if you judge, it gets in the

Sad news about Joss Naylor. I didn’t know him really, but the odd time I spoke to him he had a lovely sensible and quiet way with him. A proper Cumbrian - no hype and BS, just got on and did his thing, and hard as nails. Our thoughts with the Naylor family.
