I found this newly fledged Antillean Palm Swift in a low bush below a couple of palm trees. It was struggling but so I gave it a lift to a nearby tree. It climbed up the trunk and I left it there. Checked later and it had gone, hopefully flown. For #BirdsSeenIn2025

Our Year 13 students had a wonderful time at their recent prom, marking the end of a significant chapter. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. As they head into their final exams, we wish them the best of luck. They will always remain part of RAAS community!

Children love acquiring outdoor skills - and our Forest School is the perfect place to learn. Our new stone age programme includes lighting fires, making charcoal, handling artefacts and making string from nettles. Youngsters from the RAA School certainly got in the spirit.

The Fairy Tale Treasure Hunt takes place today at Gatton Park. Join characters from well known stories from 1pm to 4pm and follow their clues around the magical grounds of #gattonpark. Online booking is now closed, but tickets are available on the door. £8 adults, £3 children.

The nuthatches have started using my pond for a quick splash. There are loads of nuthatches in this area. They often come down to drink here, but the bathing is a relatively new thing. Lovely to see 😀😍 Birdfy by Netvue
