# 100Homes100Stories continues with the story of U.S. Navy Commander (Ret.) Rob Ballard,whose courage define what it means to serve. After two decades as a naval aviator, Rob’s life changed forever on August 19, 2021,when a helicopter crash left him paralyzed from the waist down.

On a beautiful fall day, Oliver brought his gear over, set it up, and recorded Mac playing Amazing Grace. He also shot some videos of Mac. After viewing these videos, I asked my pal Kip Perry to put together something for Mac to launch November 10th, 2025, Mac’s 35th birthday.
