The Texas Space Commission has appointed Lockheed Martin’s Kirk Shireman, VP of Lunar Exploration Campaign, as an inaugural member of the Board of Directors. The commission will work to strengthen Texas’ proven leadership in civil, commercial and military aerospace activity.

The NAA is pleased to announce that NASA's OSIRIS-REx Team has earned the 2023 Collier Trophy. 🏆

In Sep 2023, the OSIRIS-REx Mission became the first U.S. mission to collect a sample from an asteroid and return it to Earth.
