This tweet (which may be a joke) concentrates all the logical errors presented in Fooled by Randomness. "I was playing Russian Roulette for 1 billion. I asked for advice. Was recommended to stop. Had I not listened I would have won 1 billion."

Absolutely superb reframing of the porblem. Eurostar + world's top supermodels type thinking, but for electric chargers.

Just seen this on LinkedIn (from EBI). So, in addition to pro stock pickers being no more successful than cab drivers, experts in marketing are no better at predicting ad success than the toss of a coin. What a time to be alive.

Does anyone have any (robust) case studies that support a rebrand/brand refresh programme? I know things like Mastercard 'worked', but I need cases with results, etc. Any ideas/resources you might recommend? Thanks!

Can you imagine saying to someone in 1900, "One day we will be able to take a photo of the moon from a devise only slightly larger than a playing card, view it instantly, and then share it with people from around the world" Technology is amazing. #galaxy

5/ Rory Sutherland in his talk showed how presenting min per x miles is different psychologically from miles per hour: at higher speed it takes 20 additional miles per hour to gain a min/10 miles. In fact in paper (graph below by Peer/Gamliel) authors missed Jensen's inequality.
