When it comes to recovery, there's a lot of junk that doesn't work. We reach for a super supplement, instead of what actually works: 1. Sleep ~8 hours 2. Hydrate adequately 3. Socialize with friends 4. Have a way to decompress 5. Eat enough real food 6. Slow/easy exercise

Here’s a secret most people miss: Being tough gets easier the fitter you are. When you're unprepared, your body and mind scream at the first sign of discomfort. When you’re trained and ready, that same stress feels manageable. Toughness isn’t just willpower. It’s preparation.

The Edmonton Oilers were 1 shot away from being up 3-1 in the series and 2 shots away from having been swept 🤯 This finals has been incredible so far! I'm 4 rows from the ice in the building for game 6 🎉 #LetsGoOilers

What’s the best way to measure training load and recovery? A new study just confirmed what many elite coaches have known for years: The best predictor of training load and fatigue isn’t your heart rate, a readiness score, or a fancy algorithm. It’s how you feel.

As adults, we start avoiding struggle. We get good at what we know and stop putting ourselves in situations where we’re beginners. We trade curiosity for competence, exploration for expertise. But the cost is growth. To keep evolving, we have to remember what it feels like to
