The Enfield LTN 'trial' has now gone on far too long. My bike and I couldn't make this event, but I'm incredibly pleased to see the community, in which I have lived for almost 30 yrs, coming together to protest against what constitutes a backward step in public health policy.

The last video was 3-Dec-20. So it's 3 days shy of a year and the trial scheme is still making it very unpleasant to walk, run, wheel, scoot or cycle on anything outside the LTN. #publichealth disaster.

Today, on New Year’s Eve Enfield’s Labour Council published a decision by the Leader of the Council to make the Bowes Low Traffic Neighbourhood scheme permanent. This is despite many objections. The Labour Administration has failed to listen to the community once again.

So let me get this right …. He is trying to reduce car usage and he increases fares 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Stop using cars - but let's increase tubes and buses. Public transport is the most inclusive and accessible way of reducing car usage. Why is he so deluded?
