Hawks were 1st in the NBA in shot quality last season and 2nd in 3 point openness rating but only 19th in 3 point % Insert: -Porzingis 41% (41% above the break) -Kennard 43% (40.8% above the break, 63% right corner, 41% left corner) - NAW 38% (44% left corner, 51% right corner)

Jokic strikes me as someone who may retire surprisingly early. Who knows if he’s still even playing by 2032? He’s going to be 36 during the season that that pick ultimately conveys. That pick has a ton of upside.

I’m seeing a lot of, “well actually, Turner is not that good” takes after they let him walk. He is better than any C they have on their roster. This is ownership refusing to pay the tax. The only thing the organization gains from letting him go is money in the owners pockets.

This extension makes no sense to me. TOR isn’t getting a discount (see Zubac extension) & they’re committing to 3 additional years for a guy that will be 32, 33 & 34 in those years. They lose the ability to evaluate him in his age 30 & 31 seasons to see if he’d be worth this.

Losing 29 year old Myles Turner doesn’t just hurt the Pacers in the season Haliburton will be out, it’ll hurt them in the following seasons as well. Losing a starting caliber center with no realistic path to replace him is bad business.

I’m through 7 episodes of season 4 & it’s fantastic. Really don’t get the criticism of the show post season 2. Is season 3 a slight drop off from the first two seasons? Sure, but if you like the character development & filmmaking of the first two you’re still going to enjoy it.

The agreed-to trade between Denver and Sacramento to swap Dario Saric for Jonas Valanciunas cannot be made official until Sunday. The Kings still need the trade to go through for salary cap reasons, but the Nuggets’ ability to convince Valanciunas to stay in the NBA is TBD.

The only player listed that helps them as much or more than JV would is Horford. DEN desperately needs a backup C. None of these possible targets can effectively play the 4 w/AG at C lineups either. Cam Johnson is less equipped to play the 4 than MPJ, especially w/AG at C.

After departure of Myles Turner, Pacers trade for the 7-foot-1 Huff, who averaged 6.9 points, 2 rebounds and nearly 1 block in 11.7 minutes per night. He shot 41% from 3-point range last season, playing in 64 games after just a total of 31 contests in his first three seasons.

Lol Luka had 53% true shooting, 28 assists to 23 turnovers in the 2024 Finals. SGA had 56% true shooting, 39 assists to 24 turnovers in the 2025 Finals. 24-25 SGA beats 23-24 Luka in PER, TS, VORP, BPM & WS Also, the gap between them defensively is bigger than the Grand Canyon

This is a travel. You can’t crossover, at least convincingly, as the first dribble. To fool the defender into thinking he’s going right, he has to step with his right foot. He then lifts the pivot (left foot) off the ground before the ball hits the ground. Travel.

These are just words. Until an organization ACTUALLY does it, don’t take their word for it. An owner can win pr points for these sorts of statements, but they’re meaningless.

I don't know what Alex Sarr is ultimately going to be in this league, but he's blocking EVERYTHING down the stretch for Washington against the Nets.

In the 1950’s, the NBA made (inflation adjusted) 10% of what the WNBA makes today and players were paid 40% of revenue WNBA players are getting around 10% of revenue today, the overall picture is just significantly worse than I thought. This is appalling.

The Clippers had the 3rd best defense in the NBA last year. They had a league average offense. LAC were 1.9 points WORSE defensively when Harden was on the floor. LAC were 6.9 points BETTER defensively when Zubac was on the floor. And it’s not like Zu is a one way player.
