This stoneware figure of an elephant was made by potter Erica Deichmann-Gregg in 1938. 🐘

Erica and her husband Kjeld were among the earliest craftspeople in Canada to set up a studio and make a living selling their work. Erica was known for her fanciful miniature animal forms.
