Today we're grateful for GIANT piles of mulch that need to be dispersed around campus. It gives our students a productive way to burn off some of the pre-winter break energy that we know & love so much. Plus, they LOVE digging in & getting their hands (& feet & arms & legs) dirty

Peep our 3 sisters garden bed at Jackson. 4th graders learn all about indigenous planting methods. This one focuses on using all planes of the garden bed. In October we we'll make a 3 Sisters Warm Barley Salad to help this lesson fully hit home 😋
