I rarely cycle our kids to school (3km away) due to cycling safety concerns arising from poor road design and lack of a segregated cycleway. We all lose out on the benefits of exercise/fresh air. If only Galway City Council could provide #safecycling for all?

Bye Need this in Galway, if we had a local authority with enough imagination to put forward a plan for public debate! We have Galway Bay with coastal promenade that is dying for such development. Council will have to erect coastal flood protection soon. Why not design both together?
