Besides the spectacular scenery & mountainousness of the morning, the wildlife was really good. A Golden Eagle taking off from the ridge 30m ahead of me, 2 Snow Bunting, 8 Ptarmigan dressed in their snowsuits, and c200 Siskin in the Alders.

Surely the Ochils supported Goldies at some point, hence the "Glen of Eagles"... Plus, with the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project planning releases, things look good.
