Around 2000, I was working in an AI lab in Novosibirsk. Neural network enthusiasts were seen as freaks, and the popular AI topics at that time were fuzzy logic and so-called reactive agents.

I like how she goes down into a deep plié before a soutenu after a series of light pas de bourrée. The childish imperfection and airiness in the movements. There’s so much knowledge and dedication behind this little sketch.

This is the UI for CellWalk's guided tour of a mycoplasma bacteria cell on iPhone! I've been working on the iPhone version since our February Apple Vision Pro launch, and I think it's ready. Realtime, ~300,000,000 atoms on a mobile GPU. Coming soon #scicomm #gamedev #ios

This could be a great tool useful for artists right now if it used quads instead of triangles. Even with the current limitation of 1600 faces it could generate prototypes for further refinement in subdivision workflows.

An Object is Worth 64x64 Pixels: Generating 3D Object via Image Diffusion discuss: huggingface.co/papers/2408.03… We introduce a new approach for generating realistic 3D models with UV maps through a representation termed "Object Images." This approach encapsulates surface geometry,

We've been rather silent lately but it's finally time to share stuff! You can now view your own scenes at up to 2x FPS. Also, our scenes got way better while being tiny in size. Overall: faster, baster and smaller. Some tech details and what to expect next:

I'm happy to share my new open-source Vision Pro example project called «Photons». It's a particle simulation demo that literally gives you superpowers!

Has anybody used Eigen’s conjugate gradient solver? It outputs garbage on a positive definite matrix. I tried to use the same matrix with their LU solver and my own implementation of CG - all good.

This is really cool! Even groundbreaking! I wonder if it’s possible to visualize a 2D solution of Poisson equation with this approach - which is basically a harmonic height map.

I only use Twitter because there are so many interesting people here. You can learn a lot and be inspired. I don’t know how to use other apps to get a comparable experience. Do you use any?

This is what my mind keeps telling me especially at times in my life when my main income happens to be from musicianship.

Looks cool! I want to be able to do something like that on a mesh surface. But I guess this little formula won’t do it.
