I was on CNN this morning denouncing feckless Democratic Party for collaborating with Trump. If the gvmt can disappear students for speech & send them 1,000 miles away to detention, that's the end of democracy. We appeal to the American ppl to stand up now before it is too late!

For JPS, Gabriel Levine-Drizin situates Palestinian solidarity among Colombian social movements, trade unions, & leftist President Gustavo Petro in their shared understanding of Colombia’s own internal conflict, one in which Israel has played a key role. doi.org/10.1080/037791…

My colleague Ben Robinson is the first IU faculty member to be investigated under SEA 202, the law that mandates faculty can be fired for the appearance of “political bias,” which ofc in this context means left wing opinions the administration does not like. 1/4

Really a pleasure to review this book by Jeff Schuhrke for NACLA Report . Besides pointing to ways forward for labor that I hadn’t considered, it also helped me understand things I had found in the archive (i.e., the AFL-CIO financing housing projects in Colombia in the 1960s)!
