This week, NACLA published pieces on antiracist, transfeminist protests in Argentina by ChanaMamani, and a review of Marcos Colón's new book on the Amazon. Check out this week's newsletter as well to find out what's going on in the region! nacla.salsalabs.org/mar_21_25?wvpI…

To be covered in NACLA Report’s newsletter…👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀

Read my colleague Jejeunian Discoteca 's review of the recent book by Jeff Schuhrke!

Really a pleasure to review this book by Jeff Schuhrke for NACLA Report . Besides pointing to ways forward for labor that I hadn’t considered, it also helped me understand things I had found in the archive (i.e., the AFL-CIO financing housing projects in Colombia in the 1960s)!

Check out this week's newsletter for original reporting on the criminalization of natural birth in Brazil (Michael Fox) and the land struggles of Honduran farmers (Jaime Jacques). Read as well about Bukele's gang negotiations, Peruvian miners, and more! nacla.salsalabs.org/may_09_25_

“Ultimately, [President] Lula’s transformational foreign policy discourse and inspirational rhetoric are not reflected in his passive neutrality regarding Palestine and Israel,” writes Gabriel Huland for JPS. (THREAD)
