Saw an awesome talk at #cephneuro by the author of this paper about cephalopod sex chromosomes: biorxiv.org/content/10.110… It's so neat that octopuses and moths have the same type of sex determination: two Z chromosomes makes male, one Z (plus zero anything else) makes female
