Longford's 1st Leinster SFC match vs Meath took place on 22nd April 1928 at the Mental Hospital in Mullingar. Longford won 3-4 to 0-11 and match referee was Peadar Cowan (about whom a lecture will be given for Longford Historical Society by Dr. Tom Hunt on Wednesday next at 8 pm)

Pat King ⚡️ Trillick

A legendary figure for both Tyrone and Fermanagh, Pat won 5 Tyrone Championships and in 1983 captained Trillick to the 1983 🏆

He went on to win another Championship for Lisnaskea Emmet's CLG in 1994 at 46yrs, confirming his legendary status.
