Plymouth's Barbican never seen before! All arrangements in place for this weekend's VR demo at the Mayflower Museum - the sights, sounds and smells of Sutton Harbour in 1620. Looking forward to welcoming the 52 Plymothians who won a place in the draw to experience this first hand

With Mayflower commemoration events cancelled - yet again - we came through - yet again - demonstrating our VR Mayflower and 1620s Barbican demo, with smell effects, to a cross section of Plymothians, young and old. Today's feedback was really excellent from all. Bring on Day 2!

Another hugely successful day giving Plymothians a unique immersive VR time travel experience, enhanced by two olfactory displays from our friends at OVR Technology in the USA. Some great interaction with educationalists, who are hoping we can come back in the future.

With special permission, we completed a 3D survey of Kitley Caves in Yealmpton near Plymouth today. Fascinating test of the tech and some strange and scary finds! Had to abandon the work to avoid disturbing the hibernating Horseshoe Bats. Looking forward to seeing the results!

All going really well at the National Marine Aquarium and it's still only Day 1!! Big shout out to my brilliant colleagues, Faye McCabe and Vish Shingari - fabulous job!! Plymouth Sound National Marine Park Destination Plymouth

Spare a thought for my team colleagues Vish and Faye today, as they fit their 3D scans in with the weather on the North Cornish Coast! We're kindly hosted by English Heritage at the fabulous remains of Tintagel, scanning the main site and island courtyards, plus Merlin's Cave.

Hang on to that tripod as it spins our Faye!! The bridge at Tintagel has now been closed due to the wind, but the team has done brilliantly 3D scanning parts of the site this morning!!

Day 2 at Tintagel and the team (Dr. Vish Shingari and Faye McCabe) were up at the crack of dawn to scan Merlin's Cave and take some awesome photos, 360 videos and more! Superb effort guys - SERIOUSLY relieved you kept an eye on the incoming tide. Can't wait to see the results.
