A fun weekend packed with activities, laughter, and special moments; it was one to remember for our residents and staff alike. From energising Irish dancing to calming Namaste sessions, residents and staff enjoyed each others company, where community bonds were strengthened.

Residents of Oaklands House started the New Year with a trip brimming with beauty, learning, and joy. The adventure began at the compact yet fascinating Natural History Museum in Southsea, where residents marvelled at displays of exotic living creatures and long-extinct wonders.

Arts and crafts sessions at Brook House are always a highlight for residents, offering much more than just a fun activity. These creative moments are especially beneficial for those living with dementia, helping to reduce anxiety and agitation while benefitting cognitive skills.

A huge congratulations to Bincy, our well-deserved Employee of the Month for December! Bincy has been an invaluable part of the Steep House family for nearly 14 years, beginning her journey as a carer and team leader, and now serving as one of our dedicated nurses.
