Lizzie was ready for release last week, but she was too fat & couldn't fully curl 😱 Tonight, she's free, back to finders garden with my hedgehog box on loan & donated food. She's a big girl at 1.4kg & still growing. Very shy, so no face pics, I'm afraid, but that's good ☺️ 🦔

Finder sent me a couple of photos of Lizzie back in her garden last night. She was having a little explore. He says that she ate all the biscuits! Why am I not surprised? 😆 #greedygirl #hedgehogs #pricklypals

New admission on Sunday is 19 mth old Gollum. Released April 2024😢 Spotted injured on Camera Sat & vet visit Monday. Looks like a tumour breaking through the skin behind his leg 😭 On meds to see if it improves, then biopsy next week if it doesn't. Cream on nose for Ringworm.

Just been in touch with SWCC Hedgehogs and they've been handed in a #hedgehog with my tags. It's PJ, released to Buntingford on October 2024. It looks like he's had a blow to the head 😢 He's seeing a vet tomorrow, and if not a PTS, he will be transferred back to my care 🤞

PJ is very poorly. Vet removed his right eye & Vet & Shepreth were happy for me to take over his care 😊 I'm hoping familiar smells in my rescue will aid his recovery🤞 Also has fluke, lungworm & roundworm, so treatment started. He's having Emeraid Carnivore by syringe in video.

This is PJ (at the back) visiting the feeding station the night before his accident. He's walking on high legs, which indicates a parasite burden. It is so sad to think his life is changed in an instant 😢 Thank you, Kirstie SWCC Hedgehogs, for taking such good care of him 🥰

Well, it's official.. I RETIRED after 26 yrs in local government! 🥳 A little premature, but after my breakdown in Aug following the cyberbullying from Poorly And her son, I struggled with the hrs when I returned to work in Feb. More time for family & #hedgehogs now 😁 🦔
