A problem that’s been a quiet concern over the summer is the striker situation, our best striker yet to play (depends what reason you believe), Danilo just isn’t good enough and Dessers only slightly better, we desperately need a new striker or 2 (depends on Igamane)

This isn’t just a Martin problem, it’s been a problem for a while, the amount of games we look like we have no midfield, often we have no options for a pass, mixed with how slow and poor our passing is and how poor our movement is off the ball, I’m not surprised watching this

I don’t understand the love in some fans have for Hagi, first 18 months were the only months that could be classed as successful. He was injured for a long spell and came back from on loan and offered little, he wouldn’t start for us and there’s a reason he is still a free agent

To get £6m with a sell on clause for Jefte after one season is good business by Rangers. He’s still young and raw and clearly has good attributes, but I don’t think he’s ready to start regularly for us and £6m isn’t to be sniffed at, especially with how he’s played in 2025

Today is the first game of a crucial 15 day period for Martin and Rangers, domestically all 3 are must win and in Europe the CL group stages are much desired, a lot of minds seem made up but win the 3 domestic games and progress in Europe and things look massively different

Today hopefully we see the introduction of Moore, Aasgaard, Fernandez and the return of Igamane. Been a disappointing start to the season and these players can really help us, hopefully we can see some patterns of play in motion today and see huge improvement from previous games

Just feels far too slow again, low blocks aren’t easy to break down at times but surely a bit of speed to the passing and movement would be the obvious thing to do, too often also we aren’t aggressive enough either, goal against was criminal defensively

That was a hard watch again, made hard work of a tie vs a League 1 opponent, defensively I’m very worried and we don’t look great on the offensive either, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t worried about our next 4 fixtures, I just hope I am proved wrong

Worrying the state we are in going into a crucial CL play off, seems there is no real positivity amongst the fans, nothing on the park to give us optimism at this moment, always going to be a difficult tie but could easily be tore apart in this one, can’t play like we have been

Glad we have got a LB in as we currently have none, but not heard too much of this guy before, another loan defender, hopefully we will get a permanent LB in too

2 weeks today the transfer window closes and I feel we are still short on what we require, still a few players I wouldn’t mind leaving too, a starting LB, a ST and LCB required, you’d imagine progress in CL play off will heavily define how much we do and who we can attract too

Not upset by Cortes and Bajrami removals tbh, both have cost us a fair bit fee wise and both have offered little to justify their place in the team

Massive game tonight, things haven’t been great so far but we are 2 games away from the CL group stage and the riches it has to offer, ideally got to win tonight to stand a chance, it won’t be easy but hopefully we can find a way to win tonight and play better than we have so far

Well that was an absolute shambles, possibly the worst first 20 minutes I’ve watched at Ibrox ever, absolutely gutless, some players just not up to it at all, it’s Men v Boys at times and Martin persistent with the same style that hasn’t worked at all yet, this could be anything

Get Diomande, Rothwell, Aarons and Danilo off, can’t believe I’m saying this but Tavernier, Cameron, Aasgaard and Igamane on at HT, some of these players are miles off it tonight

Where to begin? That was miles off it tonight, improved the second half (couldn’t be any worse), our best moments came when we pressed Brugge and were aggressive and moved the ball with purpose, yet why was that missing for so much of the game? Worrying display again and tie over

I look at some of our new signings and there is some good talent there, I think a lot of our problems are with a system that just simply isn’t working for us, we can’t wait 2-3 months for this to click as we will be out of everything, Martin has to adapt or he will be gone soon

1 shot on target tonight in a home game, that’s absolutely woeful and sums everything up, hard to buy into this at all

It’s been a very poor start to the season and I didn’t want Martin as manager (like a lot of people), but I don’t know where I stand on everything, do we bite the bullet and change so early or do we “trust the process” and give time to let things come good? Worry is will it ever?

It might seem early but if Martin doesn’t win his next 2 league games (in particular St Mirren) then the question is do we try save the season and sack him or do we give up on the league and give him a free hit of a season? Given the expenditure we can’t afford to in my opinion
