Every single day, English is so difficult that even native speakers, not to mention me, are taken aback.

Yet to live simply, basic English is more than enough. In this sense, English is not difficult.

Browsers, AI, big data, we're already so accustomed to them that I don't think there's much to worry about. Of course, that only applies to those who believe humans are just that kind of creature.

My reading speed in my native language is remarkably fast, and while I sometimes doubt whether I can surpass that in another language, I feel it may not be impossible if I devote enough years to it.

I am now nothing less than a walking memorization machine. Diligence is my creed. Constant dripping wears away the stone.

It has been four years of diligent use of spare moments, and now I am in the second year since I began studying English in earnest. This is still only the beginning. Everything depends on wholehearted training.

No matter how old I become or how much experience I gain, young people with cutting edge technology can surpass me overnight. Instead of resting on my laurels, it is essential to keep learning. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.

There are times when anyone feels tormented by their own helplessness and is tempted to sulk. What matters, however, is not whether one sulks, but how one acts from there. It's not how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up.
