Calling the Gaza genocide a "war" is like seeing a man beating a toddler to death and calling it a "fight". So much evil hides behind calling this thing a war. If you accept that it's a war then you have to take seriously arguments like "It's a war, civilians die in war," or

Arming Israel. Bombing Yemen. Cutting aid. This government’s obsession with militarism is out of control — and it is the poorest people in the world paying the price. We are all human beings on one planet. Surely that is a good enough reason to try and build a world of peace.

Today, the UK government is being taken to court over arms sales to Israel. We know that arming Israel is morally indefensible. GLAN | Global Legal Action Network and Al-Haq الحق have my full support in proving it is legally indefensible too. End all arms sales to Israel, now.

It’s appalling that UK arms are still being sent to Israel and used in attacks on Gaza. Today I joined MPs, lawyers & campaigners at the High Court to support legal action to stop these sales. No to complicity. No to war crimes. No to arming Israel.

I am sick of empty statements on Gaza from so many governments, including our own. We don't need words. We need widespread sanctions on Israel to force it to stop its genocide.
