Thank you to the EGPD for carrying out an important operation at Ridge Family Center for Learning: Entertain dozens of students for an hour during recess so teachers and staff could enjoy a catered lunch as part of Teacher Appreciation Week. They succeeded by deploying stickers and playing😀

Well, that's a wrap on Teacher Appreciation Week! They were fed lunch, breakfast, and snacks; feted with flowers, lotto tickets, and notes of appreciation from students; and pampered with chair massages. Our teachers and staff are definitely "Wicked Oz-some!"

The Ridge FTO had a blast hosting Illinois Storm Chasers' Nick Bartholomew today at Ridge Family Center for Learning. Students learned about how tornadoes form and their rating scale , what causes thunderstorms and lightning , and how to stay safe during severe weather.
