Liz Cheney slams Speaker Johnson: “The story of Mike Johnson is the story of a collaborator. And of someone who knew then and knows now that what he’s doing and saying is wrong but he’s willing to do it in an effort to please Donald Trump.”

Two CFB Playoff thoughts: - A 13-0 P-5 champion with 3 Top 25 wins can't get left out. Why even play the games if they are? - Head to head matters. Texas beat Alabama by 10 on the road. That happened THIS season. September matters just as much as December.

FSU’s defense held its opponent to negative total yards in the 4th quarter for the 2nd straight week (on the road at an SEC school and neutral site against the No. 14 team in the country). Those two opponents gained NEGATIVE-38 YARDS in a combined 30 minutes of football

I was curious what a mashup of Resume SP+ and Strength of Record would have to say about the top 7. Not quite what I expected: 1. Michigan (13-0) 2. Florida State (13-0) 3. Washington (13-0) 4. Ohio State (11-1) 5. Alabama (12-1) 6. Georgia (12-1) 7. Texas (12-1)

In the 10-plus quarters since ACC Player of the Year Jordan Travis went down with a season-ending injury, the FSU defense has allowed 21 points. 21 points in 10 quarters of college football. Despite being put in some hellacious situations along the way.

Florida State got absolutely hosed. They have Atleast 2 first round picks. Talent all over the field, goes undefeated, and still on the outside looking in. 2-0 vs SEC teams this season. 2014 Buckeyes got in with a third string QB. FSU Shld have been in!

The essence of team sports is coming together and overcoming challenges. The best teams are those where the sum is greater than the total of the parts. This FSU team exemplifies everything good about team sports. Kirk Herbstreit and the whole ESPN crew should be embarrassed.

Can’t wait to tell my kids the following is bullshit: - One game at a time - Find a way, no matter what. - Go 1-0 each week. - Be resilient. - Next man up. - Hard work gets rewarded. - It takes all 11. - Trust the process. - Work to be the best version of yourself.

Column: What a stupid day in college football history, I still remember when winning mattered the most 247sports.com/college/florid…

Committee: You should schedule tough non-conference games. FSU: We beat LSU and Florida. Committee: You should really be a Power 5 conference champ. FSU: We won the ACC. Committee: You should be undefeated. FSU: We’re 13-0. Committee: Lol, you’re not gonna believe this..

SEC bias at its worst! Leaving unbeaten #FSU out of the playoff is just un-American. Here's my column on the committee using the #JordanTravis injury as an excuse to put the SEC champion into the playoff (Click on photo to read): tinyurl.com/4mdmswz7 #FinishFor13 #RollTide

Since Travis injury, the Florida State defense was on the field for 38 possessions. And allowed 1 touchdown. And that came after a horrible personal foul call that negated a third-down stop. So, essentially 0 TDs on 38 possessions SINCE the injury. But hey, couldn't compete!
