Bring your elementary-level books to get into games for free! With nine events left this month, the FSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will collect books at the ticket table during all home games for the remainder of February.

Here is where we currently stand, help us get to 50 this weekend with two basketball games and ice hockey!

Leadership of The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee made it to Worcester State for today’s community service project! FSU brought over 200 books to be donated to surrounding schools and assisted in running a day of Special Olympics!

Job well done by the MASCAC SAAC today! So many books signed with inspirational quotes for the younger kids to read! And an amazing day of Special Olympics basketball!

To kick off DIII Week today, we celebrate the academic successes of Fitchburg State's Student-Athletes! Today, we will post all those who have been inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society!

Very proud of these athletes and how hard they work both inside and outside of the classroom!

Last night, the Soaring to Success Athletic Awards Night went off without a hitch! We will continue celebrating this past year by sharing our award winners! First up is the Kruczek Award. This award is given to an individual who has overcome adversity in life.

Next is the Sue Lauder Leadership Award. This is given to Student-Athletes who demonstrate outstanding leadership both on and off the playing surface.

Next is the Rookies of the Year! Sam Jones and Justin Job received this year's ROTY Awards.

Next, we celebrated two of our top team's coaching staff with this year's Coaching Staff of the Year Awards! This year it was men's ice hockey and field hockey!

Congratulations to all of the Senior Scholar Athletes, including our own Sam Mirra!

Finally, we had the Paul Waring Athlete of the Year Awards! This year, two incredible student-athletes earned their awards: Autumn Tibbetts from field hockey and lacrosse, and Liam Bourassa from track and field.
