The Canongate footbridge on the Royal Military Canal in Hythe recently underwent some lovely refurbishment work! Replacement and welding repair of corroded steel beams beneath the bridge and a full repaint were completed as part of our regular maintenance.

The Coast Drive project – delivering a new visitor hub, improved water sports facilities and 93 beach huts at Greatstone – is taking shape nicely. Works to the entrance are progressing well, the building is having roof joists installed and over 30 beach huts are in place.

The sounds, the colour, the fun – Charivari Day is just one day away! 🎉 Come celebrate the 29th iteration of this much-loved Folkestone carnival which will be marching through town tomorrow on Saturday 12th July.
