BIG NEWS: We announced $11.7 million from U.S. Department of Transportation to connect the Red Rock Trail System in West Jefferson County! It will go toward 4 miles of new bicycle facilities between Fairfield and Birmingham. Thanks to Freshwater Land Trust and our many local partners for their collaboration!

Wednesday Morning, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell and several other community leaders within Jefferson county announced a $11.7 million dollar RAISE grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to connect the Red Rock Trail System in West Jefferson County. bit.ly/4e8vT2x
