BIG NEWS: We announced $11.7 million from U.S. Department of Transportation to connect the Red Rock Trail System in West Jefferson County! It will go toward 4 miles of new bicycle facilities between Fairfield and Birmingham. Thanks to Freshwater Land Trust and our many local partners for their collaboration!




We recently joined the Birmingham Canoe Club, Freshwater Land Trust, and Friends of the Locust Fork River to remove over 1,970 pounds of litter, plus 12 tires, from the Black Warrior River's Locust Fork watershed! Join our next cleanups: blackwarriorriver.org/volunteer-news…
