The great thing about being a free IXP that refuses to suggest how much networks should contribute for their port, is that networks can get creative when their port fees come due.

Apologies for the port bounces tonight. We managed to find a TCAM bank limitation on the Trident+ platform that 2/3 of our peering fabric runs on, so when we tried to add an additional rule to our peering port ACLs it bounced every interface on the switch.

Can we burn every Equinix facility to the ground yet? Asking for a whole lot of friends and the good of the Internet. equinix.com/www/resources/…

Don't just rely on the route servers on an IXP! You should set up direct peering sessions with the specific networks of value to you on an IXP. fcix.net/whitepaper/202…

Our route server hypervisor is currently having some issues. We're working on it, but I hope you have direct peering sessions where it matters!

Since an Internet Exchange tends to be a bandwidth rich environment, we figured that FCIX would be a good sponsor for an open source software mirror! mirror.fcix.net
