Here is our brand new VEX IQ team. We are getting ready to compete in Black River Falls this Saturday. Our team is sponsored and mentored by our First Robotics team #7021. Currently we are registered for three events in our area.

We are in BRF and ready to go. 3 years ago we started with 16 teams in the area and one tournament. Today we have 50+ teams and have 4 tournaments in our rural Wisconsin area. There are 58 teams alone at this tournament. Thanks to Ashley Furniture for making this possible.

As we bring our second robotics season to a close we were able to complete another goal, to sponsor a middle school VEX team. Less then two months ago we registered our team and today they went to their first competition, made the playoffs and finished 8th out of over 50 teams.

Something new to our team this year is that we have access to two Markforged 3d printers thanks to Ashley Furniture. Yesterday, we printed half of our shooter rotator gear on an X7. This gear is made of Onyx and is reinforced with carbon fiber and is as strong as 6061 aluminum.
