It's genuinely jarring when you accidentally walk through a tourist trap street to get to a subway station. Like wtaf is wrong with these people? Frantically livestreaming shops of slop merch and brightly colored food that aren't even from Tokyo.

I just watched some tourist frantically take photos and videos of every museum exhibit with the energy of someone fighting for money that was tossed into a crowd. It's embarrassing to even be around.
