Finally the 🇺🇲 House of Representatives stalling is over!

But it took way too long, and each day of it cost so many lives...

That's why there's bitterness in my gratitude today.

One major consequence of the worsening shell hunger is that mechanised attacks, even of the most gung-ho kind that got chewed up mercilessly in the first week of the Avdiivka offensive, are now becoming a sound tactic again, especially if the vehicles are protected with good EW.

Foreign politicians, officials, and ordinary citizens who today reject the word 'genocide' when talking about Russia’s war are thus rejecting the key to understanding what is happening in Ukraine. We must continue to offer this key. kyivindependent.com/danylo-mokryk-…

Not only a dark day for Australian media, but a testament to how our physical distance to Europe and total lack of experience with outside occupation (First Nations people aside) can lead to such braindead decisions even from seemingly intelligent editors.

I think that anyone who hasn’t experienced Russian occupiers doing this to their children’s schools should have the humility to listen to people who have lived under occupation rather than mouth off about why they need to capitulate

One consequence of Russia going on the offensive all over the front is how cities where things were relatively stable are now in new, direct danger of becoming the next Bakhmut or Avdiivka.
