V tired of the line of thinking that writers, musicians, actors, directors, comedians and artists can live on the love of what they do. This is their business. They deserve the same damn recognition and support we provide to their contracted accountants, lawyers and agents.
The thing is, the *government* isn't making our lives inconvenient and difficult.
Covid-19 is.
And in nearly every other country in the world, government responses have led to absolute tragedy. Untold suffering. Near collapse.
We are SO LUCKY to have these leaders.
I saw the protest from the Beehive.
We will vaccinate more people today - in just one day- than turned up to that protest.

Luxon is wrong. Ethnicity is relevant to health prioritisation. Māori women with breast cancer who live in a high decile have the same outcomes as those who live in a low decile area. Wealth is not protective for Māori. Ethnicity is an independent risk factor for health outcomes
