The idea of Fragments started by exploring the meaning of what is an NFT & the difference between NFT (Non Fungible Token) and FT (Fungible Token). An FT is defined by its value. An NFT is defined by its properties. So what gives value to an NFT?

The idea of Fragments initially came about by trying to understand how true decentralised technology work, exploring the concept of what makes an NFT such and trying to push the boundaries of this technology. Fragments can only exist because of the technology of blockchain.
